Why A Magazine?
The Ripple Effect Magazine was born out of a need for change. Our motto: if you want to SEE change, first you must BE it - this takes action.
The mag is a hub for connection, sharing awareness, supporting each other and making plans that are important to us - without the looming shadow and overreaching censorship of social media platforms - helping SME's to survive and thrive in a dog eat dog corporate world.
A community of change makers, consisting of individuals and businesses working together towards creating positive social and environmental impact, needs a magazine for several reasons:
- To share news, stories and events to wider audience.
- To break away from social media strongholds, with the ability to download and share with those who don't use it.
- To raise awareness about issues that affect, inspire and create change.
- To connect, network and collaborate with other like-minded souls.
- To share knowledge and learn from one another's experiences.
- To motivate and educate others to get involved in social events and environmental causes.
- To spark new ideas, ignite passions, and empower individuals to take action. and collaborate on matters of importance..
- Celebrate wins and successes.
A magazine provides valuable point of contact, and a place of resources of support and guidance to it’s subscribers. By sharing stories, experiences and achievements, it helps to create interest and a sense of hope and belonging among contributors and readers.
Lastly, it documents progress and impact over time and identifies areas for improvement, serving as a permanent record of the community's history, providing a lasting legacy and blueprint for future generations of change makers to follow.
